“I am looking to put my movie titles onto my Drobo 5n and pointed my dedicated Mac mini running Plex Server and running Plex Theater, that’s connected to a 4×4 matrix switch that plays to all my TVs in my house. Once I have all my movies uploaded in the right format, I would like to be able to play them on any device (mainly my TVs, or my 3 iPhones and 3 iPad Minis.) My movies are DVD and Blu-ray (most with digital copy). Can you help me? Thanks!”

I bought my very first 3D TV The M701d a week ago at Costco. It is the second largest LED TV in the M series for 2013/2014. The 2D picture looks great and it also has a very nice deep rich 3D quality picture. But right away I noticed some cross talking on the bottom part of the screen when I watched John Carter and The Hobbit, mostly when there was subtitling. I saw it really bad when watching Wreck-It Ralph last night. Depending on the depth of the 3D image, the cross talking is extremely noticeable on the bottom half of the screen. Watching a 16:9 movie, like The Avengers, is almost unbearable. It is a movie in Blu-ray disc.

As many Blu-ray players don’t support 3D playback, you may choose 3D Smart LED HDTV like Vizio 70″ M-Series to watch 2D/3D Blu-ray movies keeping 3D effect like me...

I’d consider myself a home entertainment enthusiast, as such I’m quite finicky when it comes to audio and video quality. I would happily drop out my LED TV and replace it with the BenQ W1080ST. The W1080ST delivered high quality and bright video, for as long as you were not shining a direct light at it.

And a few days before, I’ve purchased many 3D blu-ray movies, I wonder if my BenQ W1080ST projector directly play 3D blu-ray with 3D effect keeping? Is it necessary to hook up a Blu-ray player to it? I only have two options to hooking it up to a blu-ray player: S-video or that yellow video plug. No optical or DVI or HDMI plugs. I would really like to know before I go and spend a lot of money on a Blu-ray player.

Hey Guys, is there anything I can download so I can play my Bluray movies using Windows Media Player? I’ve seen a few threads around here talking about using Windows Media Player to play Blu-Ray Discs. I am well aware of the whole “Windows doesn’t support Blu Ray” thing and Cyberlink’s software (the stuff that came with my Blu Ray drive) doesn’t always work for me.
