DTS-HD Master Audio

DTS-HD Master Audio or just DTS-HD is a combined lossless/lossy audio codec created by Digital Theater System, commonly used for surround-sound movie soundtracks on Blu-ray Disc. DTS-HD Master Audio may be transported to AV receivers in 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 channels, at lossless quality, in one of three ways depending on player and/or receiver support.

It replaces the old DTS audio (actually it extends it) and its main goal is to allow a bit-to-bit representation of the original movie’s studio master soundtrack. Hello people. I recently purchased new speakers (Acesonic 510 speakers)and a pioneer 819 av receiver capable of decoding TrueHD and DTS HD. Since my previous setup was only able to decode dolby digital and dts, how much better are the new formats? I imagine they are pretty noticeable considering the difference in quality I heard while comparing dts to dts 96/24. What are your thoughts about the new formats?

-I also have to admit a personal bias favoring DTS.

Microsoft introduced and released Windows 8.1 with new manageability, mobility, security, however, it doesn’t solve Blu-ray and DVD playback issue on Windows 8.1, here is the situation:

Nexus 8 Rumor

IHS Technology, a technology consultancy firm, told CNET Google is planning to release a larger Nexus tablet later in the year with a “high performance” screen, this is Nexus 8. The tablet is rumoured to be entering production in July this year but will be made in much smaller volumes than the Nexus 7. It’ll also cost a bit more due to higher specifications according to IHS Technology.
