It is the right time again to review the classic Christmas movies. When speaking of Christmas film, which one would you think of first? For me, it must be Home Alone. Although Macaulay Culkin is not lovely any more, Kevin McCallister still lives in our mind. This time, I want something fresh. I plan to backup my Blu-ray Home Alone to hard drive then cast the movie by a projector. Hoping bigger display leads bigger enjoyment.

It is not a tough job for me to rip Blu-ray movies. I have a frequently-used Blu-ray Ripper called Pavtube ByteCopy. It can perfectly rip Blu-ray to digital format, like MP4/MKV/H.265/AVI/MOV, etc with original video quality. It can keep multiple subtitle and audio track while ripping Blu-ray to lossless MVK. I have ever used it to keep Swedish and English subtitles simultaneously. This time, I’m willing to rip Home Alone to MP4 for playing on my BenQ W1080ST projector. You can download it from the below link:

How to Put Blu-ray Home Alone on Hard Drive for use on a Projector?

Step 1: Import Blu-ray movies

Simply, insert your Blu-ray to Blu-ray drive and load Home Alone movie to the app by “File” icon. You can choose desired subtitle below the chapter list.

Step 2: Choose output format

I select MP4 to play on my projector via hard drive. If you want to preserve all chapter markers and multiple subtitle/audio track, you should choose lossless MKV format.

Tip: I find in “Settings” window, you can adjust video and audio parameters and preview the video size and output parameters in the below chart. You can try the function. I don’t want to change anything, so I ignore it.

Step 3: Start to backup Home Alone to MP4

Go back to the main UI, click red big “Convert” to begin the Home Alone movies for projector. Once the process ends, open the output folder to locate the ripped Blu-ray movies.

Transfer the ripped Blu-ray Home Alone to external hard drive and plug it into the USB port on projector. Now, you can enjoy the home theater effect. Next, I will turn to Hannibal Blu-ray ripping. Love this bloody TV shows!
