Archos makes his Video Player app available for all Android devices (tablets, phones, TV; requires Android 4.0 or later). And it is indeed the choice for many Android users. This media player can play many kinds of videos, but not including Blu-ray. As we all known, Blu-ray has playback limitation on general devices and media players for its complex copy protection technology. How to rip and backup Blu-ray to Archos Player?
Step 1: Load Blu-ray movie.
Insert Blu-ray disc into your computer Blu-ray drive, click “File” to load Blu-ray disc to Blu-ray to Archos Player program.
Tips: Click “Subtitle” and “Audio” drop-down box to select your preferred subtitle track and audio stream.
Step 2: Select output file format.
Hit on Format bar to select your target format. Move your mouse to HD Video, then you can choose AVI with HD standard format here. With HD AVI you can have high quality videos, but its large volume may also bother you. So if you do not expect too much on the high definition, you can also choose SD AVI format in the item of Common Video. Of course, you also can choose MKV, MP4 for Archos Player.
Tip: You can adjust the output profile parameters such as video codec, size, bit rate, frame rate and audio codec, sample rate, bit rate and channels for better Blu-ray playback on Archos Player.
Step 3: Rip Blu-ray to Archos Player in AVI.
Hit on the big “Convert” icon and start Blu-ray movie to Archos Player conversion. When the conversion completes, you could find the generated AVI file from “Open output folder”.
