Steps to copy DVD to Facebook with Pavtube DVDAid

Step 1: Load DVD to the app

Insert your commercial DVD disc to DVD drive on computer and lunch DVD to Facebook converter. From “File” menu on the top toolbar and select “Load from disc” option to load DVD file to the software.



Step 2: Select Facebook supported format

Though Facebook supported format list, you can choose MP4 as the output format for uploading DVD to Facebook. So click the format bar to follow “Common Video” > “H.264 Video (*.mp4).”



Tip: According to Facebook Help Center, H.264 video with AAC audio in MOV or MP4 format is preferred for uploading. Click “Settings” button and in “Profile Settings” screen, set the video codec to H.264 and audio codec to AAC to get the most suitable format video for Facebook.



Step 3: Trim video footage

To upload wanted clips in DVD movie, you can go to “Video Editor” window to use the “Trim” function. You’ll find other editing functions like cropping, adding watermarks, adjust special effects, etc.



Step 4: Backup DVD movie clips to H.264 MP4


Switch back to the main screen, and click “Convert” button in bottom right to start turning DVD movies to H.264 MP4 for the purpose of successful uploading to Facebook.

Now, the video is supported by Facebook. You can upload this DVD video clip to Facebook to draw more attention.
