Samsung is ready to take on the iPad, yet again, with its new slew of tablets. The Galaxy Tab S (Tab S 10.5 and Tabs 8.4) is a reboot of what Samsung has been doing in terms of the overall feel of the tablets. Initial impression of the screen will simply blow you away, the screen is very sharp and thanks to it being a Super AMOLED the colours look very alive and vivid.

Galaxy Note 4 is the most hotly anticipated phablet of 2014, and it is packed with a very big screen of 5.7 inches with a screen resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. Now I plan to preorder one and want to get my large Blu-ray and DVD collection ripped and copied to this Galaxy Note 4. Then I can watch them on long plane flights – like yesterday, which involved a 4 hour flight. So I’m looking for a way to make the Blu-ray and DVD video playable on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with Mac OS X.

Galaxy Note 4

Unfortunately I found there is no way to insert a disk into the Galaxy Note 4. In this case, I have to convert BD/DVD to a Galaxy Note 4 friendly video format to make it possible to watch Blu-ray, DVD video on Galaxy Note 4...

Best FLAC Converter- Listen to FLAC audio files on iPhone 6(Plus)

Diana Joan

Sep 17, 2014 06:31 pm / Posted by Diana Joan | Categories: Video Tools

FLAC (Free Lossless Audio Codec) is a great way to store your music without compromising on quality, but the files take up a large amount of hard drive space. In addition, many music applications and media devices do not support their playback like the new iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6. (Here is all info about FLAC and you can batch convert DTS to FLAC for playing)

Play FLAC Files on iPhone 6(Plus)

Both iTunes and iPhone 6(Plus) support several digital audio file formats, including AAC, MP3, WAV, AIFF, and Apple Lossless. So in order to solve “iTunes won’t import FLAC” problem, you need to convert FLAC to iPhone 6/6+ to readable format like MP3/M4A, a versatile audio format across system and devices then import the converted FLAC files to iTunes.

To perform this conversion, I just need a powerful app as assistant...

How to Transfer/Sync Blu-ray and DVD ISO to iPhone 6 Plus on Mac

Diana Joan

Sep 16, 2014 10:19 pm / Posted by Diana Joan | Categories: Blu-ray

iPhone 6 Plus has been published for some days and I really look forward to enjoy the bigger display as soon as possible. But I wonder if there is any way to stream my Blu-ray and DVD ISO backup on iPhone 6 Plus. So I need a solution that can help me keep my iso files on iPhone 6 Plus.

iPhone 6 Plus

The ISO is an exact digital replica of the DVD/BD disc which is an ideal way of backing up personal DVD/BD collection. Although it is convenient for backing up and archiving, it doesn’t lend itself all that much to portability. Due to lack of Media Player, the iPhone 6 Plus supports very limited formats and DVD ISO files are the tab does not play. If you’d like to put Blu-ray and DVD ISO onto iPhone 6 Plus for the following travel, it is advised that you convert ISO to iPhone 6 Plus supported video form...

Rip Blu-ray and DVD movies to AC Ryan Player for watching

Diana Joan

Sep 05, 2014 06:31 am / Posted by Diana Joan | Categories: Blu-ray

AC Ryan PlayOn HD Full Network Media Player is the best Media player I have had so far. I use it for storing all my Movies, Music and Photographs which I can scroll through within seconds. AC Ryan Player claims no other media player supports as many file types. Video playback is good, and it has no problems with a range of standard-def and HD files including DivX, H.264, SRT subtitles and a full HD M2TS Blu-ray rip. Audio support is even better with HDMI or digital audio pass-through for Dolby Digital Plus, DTS, Dolby TrueHD and AAC 7.1 plus stereo downmix of all except DD Plus.

View Blu-ray DVD on AC Ryan Player

Now I have some Blu-ray, DVD discs in hand, and I’m wondering if I can get my Blu-ray, DVD content for playback on AC Ryan Player. As can be seen as above, M2TS is included in AC Ryan Player supported format list...

Watch The Avengers Blu-ray on Vizio 70″ M-Series 3D Smart LED HDTV in 16:9 display

Diana Joan

Sep 04, 2014 03:57 am / Posted by Diana Joan | Categories: Blu-ray, TV

I bought my very first 3D TV The M701d a week ago at Costco. It is the second largest LED TV in the M series for 2013/2014. The 2D picture looks great and it also has a very nice deep rich 3D quality picture. But right away I noticed some cross talking on the bottom part of the screen when I watched John Carter and The Hobbit, mostly when there was subtitling. I saw it really bad when watching Wreck-It Ralph last night. Depending on the depth of the 3D image, the cross talking is extremely noticeable on the bottom half of the screen. Watching a 16:9 movie, like The Avengers, is almost unbearable. It is a movie in Blu-ray disc.

Vizio 70" M-Series 3D Smart LED HDTV

As many Blu-ray players don’t support 3D playback, you may choose 3D Smart LED HDTV like Vizio 70″ M-Series to watch 2D/3D Blu-ray movies keeping 3D effect like me...

Everything About Aspect Ratio

Diana Joan

Sep 02, 2014 06:17 pm / Posted by Diana Joan | Categories: Knowledge

Aspect ratio is the way movie directors specify the actual size of the image that will be projected in the theater, as well as in the home. These ratios often confuse the heck out of consumers and the numbers can often be unwieldy. Traditional standard-definition television sets are built to operate at a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is much squarer than the 16:9 aspect ratio that is commonly found in HDTV broadcasts.

Aspect Ratio

The motion picture industry puts a value of 1.0 to the video image’s height. Therefore, an “anamorphic” frame is described as 2.40:1 or “2.40.” In American movies, the common projection ratios are 1.85:1 and 2.40:1. CinemaScope, also known as 2.35:1, is another popular format used in filmmaking. Digital cinema uses 2.4:1 aspect ratio...

DTS-HD Master Audio is the latest uncompressed audio format and is available on Blu-ray discs. It is the DTS standard for high-definition audio output.  This format competes with Dolby TrueHD.
