Won’t Play Blu-ray movies on Media JukeBox

As the technology keeps on advancing day by day, so do the ways of watching videos/movies also expanding day by day. Before we used to watch movies on TV or Cinemas only, now we can also watch videos/movies on Video Players on our computers. How to Rip Blu-rays to MP4 for Media JukeBox

Step One: Insert your Blu-ray into driver, and add your Blu-ray disc via “Load” button to the app. This program also supports DVD discs and DVD/BD folder.

Step Two: From the Format menu, select Media JukeBox friendly format as your output video format. There, you can take MP4 as your output video format.

Media JukeBox supports all major video formats:

  • Video CD playback.
  • AVI Video (avi)
  • MPEG Video (mpeg, mpg, m1v, mpv, mpe, m2v)
  • MPEG-4 Container Formats (mp4, m4v, mp4v, m4p, 3gp, 3g2)
  • Windows Media Video (wmv, wvx)
  • DIVX Video (divx)
  • DVD Video (ifo, vob)
  • QuickTime Video (mov, qt)
  • RealVideo (rv)
  • ShockWave (swf)

Tip: If you are still not satisfied with the defaulted profile settings, you can click “Settings” to change the video encoder, resolution, frame rate, etc. as you wish.

Step Three: Tap the “Convert” button and start Blu-ray to Media JukeBox conversion.

When the conversion completes, you will be able to get the result video via “Open” button. After that, you can stream or transfer the converted Blu-ray videos to Media JukeBox for easy storage at ease without any problem.

Tip:

  • Folder-watching/auto importing: i.e. watching a folder or folders for changes or new audio file additions and automatically reflecting those in the database. There is actually an auto importing plugin that will do this but I was not able to download and install it.
  • Allowing the user to enter the search strings when searching for album art.
  • You can sync your collection with the iPod, PDA’s and some selected phones.

Option 2: Install A Different Media Player

VLC can be considered as a powerful media player to afford DVDs and BDs. However, it could only recognize unencrypted Blu-Ray disk. In a word, the option is fantastic for DVDs, but somewhat lacking for Blu-Ray. Thus, you may need the above commercial option for the job for playing Blu-ray movies in Media JukeBox.
