Even though Xbox One S and PS4 Pro claim that they support to play Blu-ray discs, many people still meet Blu-ray playabck issues. Why? That is because each game console is manufactured for playing the Blu-ray and DVD discs relased in the same region. So, when your Xbox One S is Region B, you won’t play region A Blu-ray discs.

To play a region A Blu-ray on Region B Xbox One S, you pretty much have two choices — either get an external region A Blu-ray Player — or remove Blu-ray discs region codes with a Blu-ray Region killer. The former way is easy but expensive while the latter way enables you to load Blu-ray to external hard drive to stream Blu-ray movies on Xbox One S, PS4 Pro, Samsung TV, LG TV, Projector, WD TV Live, PC etc freely.
